how the showerdome works to eliminate steam completely
Steam occurs when the warm, moist air from your shower cubicle rises and meets the cooler air in the bathroom. Where these two air masses meet, visible water vapour occurs - that's the clouds of steam you see.
A Showerdome blocks the warm moist air inside the shower cubicle, stopping it from meeting with the cooler bathroom air, thus eliminating steam.
Installing a Showerdome does not result in steam being trapped inside and the shower becoming a sauna, rather as the two air masses do not mix, There is NO STEAM AT ALL!

installing your showerdome
You can choose to install a Showerdome yourself, or have one of our qualified installers custom-fit the Showerdome to your shower. Installers are available in Northland, Auckland,Waikato and Manawatu.
There are eight different shapes and sizes of Showerdomes available, designed to fit most new and existing showers. A Showerdome will often need to be trimmed to fit the unique measurements of each shower.

- DIY INSTALLATION
Selecting your Showerdome.
1) Measure
Take inside measurements of two back walls of your shower
2) Select Dome Shape
Using the product list below, find your shower shape eg. Square, 5-sided, Round.
3) Select Dome Size
Moving down the list from largest to smallest, select dome that your backwall measurements will fit into. In some cases more than one dome will suit. Select the largest dome.
4) Rails
Two rails that the dome sits on (required to fix dome to shower with 2 wall linings) are supplied with the showerdome. However if you have an alcove shower (shower with 3 wall linings) eg. 
in addition you will need to purchase an additional rail from the products below.
